Looks like Messrs Mortensen and Cronenberg have opposing views. On the other hand there is a nice picture of Mr. M playing piano last year in the hotel lobby that everyone will love remembering. My hairdresser's sister works for the hotel and I heard all about it. She took pictures with her cell but is unable to publicly show them. Luckily there is some professional ethics in that.

Hello everyone. There does not seem to be an intro place so I jumped in. I was invited to this site by a member here way back when. It looks like a lot of possibilities here. I'm from TIFF country, have been a fan of all the Lord of the Rings movies and VM fan too. I saw him once in Toronto and he seemed very nice if not somewhat skittish. I have high hopes for the movie The Road as I really liked the book.

Well since there is no one here to post with why do you come here, Vigs thy Girl? Is not an Admin supposed to promote a site, post topic items and that kind of thing? It just feels a little strange that we are only 3 - 4 faithful members in here. Perhaps I can send an e-mail to the rest of them.

I come here because I'm a faithful and stubborn member (and the only admin - for the time being). Someone has to go in here and see what happens.

If I get the permission from a person in another site I will make a thread about the Venice film festival in Italy and post some pics with Viggo and Kody Smith-McFee (I hope I spell his name correct). He reminds me of a young Elija Wood (Frodo).

I've been following this controversy at TIFF. This whole things makes me quite sad.

I'm sorry to tell that I got a "no" from the woman in the other site when I asked about her permission to post the Venice (Italy) pics in here. She has got them in a 3rd site and has promised them not to repost them. And I'm a decent person who respect a "no".

But if anyone else can get the pics in a legal way I would be happy if you can post them, thanks. There are many nice and good ones from there.
